Today's Horse Racing Tips

Catterick 17.05

Jason Hart always worth a close look over this track and trip and is likely to be on the front running course winner Sir Garfield. Will take a PB to land this 0-85 off a break and the 16's looks fair.

Tim Easterby is an infrequent scorer at this time of the year. He's acquired Miraculous from Roger Varian and likely that David Allan will look to stretch them out here.

However, going to side with the mid priced SECRET GUEST who has had a patchy AW but arrives back on the turf from a good mark.

He was an early season scorer last term of a similar grade at Thirsk. 24-4-11 on the turf is 5-3-4 under today's conditions for going, trip and class.

Has been better so far on the straighter tracks, so Catterick a bit of an unknown. Nonetheless Paul Mulrennan knows him well and a decent record here.

Priced with 10/1 and the THREE paying places.

Catterick 17.05 - Secret Guest (Full Stakes Challenge)

Kempton 18.30

Not many arrive in form here for this 0-75 aside from shorty favourite Atmosphere.

No value there and will oppose with one lightly raced so far on the AW in ASH WEDNESDAY.

Heather Main’s charge, whilst best on the tapeta, switches to the polytrack first time this season where he was a close up 3rd on last appearance here.

Arrives in form, just missing out with a close second at Southwell ten days ago, and looks well treated from a mark 1lb below his last winning rating.

Very effective over this 7f trip gets a top pilot up top with the Muskrat and priced with 17/2 and the FOUR paying places.
