🏇 Wolves Racing Tips Today – Handicap Preview & Each-Way Selection | 23rd October

🍀 It's been a decent few days for us with a winner and two placed efforts. Indeed Crypto Quest rewarded each-way followers at Southwell yesterday advised 20/1

To end the week our Wolves Racing Tips focuses on an All Weather Trials series and the 4.25pm Class 6 handicap over 1m 142yds where a progressive three-year-old heads the market at a very short price.

With eleven runners declared and several experienced all-weather performers lurking further down the betting, I'm not convinced this will be quite as straightforward as the odds suggest.

Let's see if we can keep the good run going! 🏇🍀

BOL if you're making any selections today🍀🤞

Wolves 16.25

SNAAFY – 25/1 EACH WAY – HALF STAKE (THREE paying places) 🍀

There's a very short-priced favourite in this afternoon's Wolverhampton handicap, with Battle Standard heading the market following an impressive win at Southwell last week. He could well be improving, but that victory came in a considerably weaker race.

At the prices, we're going to take a small chance on David Loughnane's three-year-old SNAAFY, who has a few interesting things going for him if he can reproduce his better Wolverhampton form.

The first positive is his record here with today's jockey, Rowan Scott. The pair have teamed up three times at Wolverhampton, recording a win and two thirds, all over similar trips. Their victory came in December from OR61, when he made all the running, before finishing third twice from OR65.

He's now back down to OR58, a full 7lb below those two more recent course performances, and Scott is back on board.

Many will poo-poo the car park draw where Trap 11 looks far from ideal on paper. However, front runners do fair well, as they do at the 6f, if getting across before the turn.

He's a natural front-runner, and there don't appear to be too many confirmed pace-setters in the field, although Sant Alessio is another who likes to race handily and could make life difficult if the pair get into an early battle.

LTO on the all-weather was well beaten at Wolverhampton in September despite leading. Nonetheless, his latest run at Leicester was more encouraging, finishing 3rd of ten from today's OR58, showing that he hasn't completely lost his form.

Am prepared to forgive the disappointing previous Wolves run and have a smaller each-way interest, hoping Rowan Scott can bounce him out, get across before the bend and give us a good run for our money.

Let's hope the car park draw proves a blessing rather than a curse! 🐎🍀

Similar price to yesterday with 25/1 with THREE paying places.
