Tuesday's horse racing on the turf comes from Ponty and Yarmouth.

Speeding Bullet has just gone a bit short for me in the 5f (17.05) but I think the one to oppose the favourite.

Our horseracing tips come from the (16.02) Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Save Lives Handicap

Class 5 | 4YO plus up the stiff 6f and opposing the 'seven-timer' seeking Yorkshire Glory 🫎

Ponty 16.02

Yorkshire glory heads the market at a short price on his 7-timer quest needing to translate AW form to the turf.

Bit early for Tim Easterby's Valentine Catcher albeit should come on for that apprentices 5th behind Juan Les Pins at Thirsk the other week.

Will take Charlie Johnston's NO RETURN to go close.

He makes plenty of appeal here now reverting to more suitable conditions and looks overpriced given his back-class performances. A dual winner from his final three turf starts in Ireland, he was competing in races around 10lb stronger than this, which puts him in a favourable light at this level.

Since joining the yard, hasn't fired with just one placed effort from five runs, but there have been valid excuses. However, now drops to a mark 4lb below his last winning rating and returns to turf after a below-par effort in a Class 4 over 7 furlongs at Lingfield, where he weakened late on.

This ease in grade, combined with the drop back to 6 furlongs — the trip over which both of his career wins have come — looks a key angle. The return to a sharper test should suit his run style much better, particularly as he’s drawn to attack and is likely to race prominently.

Ponty's uphill finish often favouring those on or near the pace, he is well drawn and will hopefully take advantage if getting into a rhythm early.

Loos a decent EW proposition with Callum Shepperd doing the steering. He has a decent record for the yard, 41-6-15, and priced with the 12/1 and the THREE paying places this morning.
