Today's Horse Racing Tips

Beverley 14.52

Will take on the short priced Easterby runner with the Midgemeisters VENTURA EXPRESS.

A pipeopener 3rd at Newcastle (0–85), beaten just a short head confirms retained ability at nine years. Goes from 5lb less than a decent finish to last years flat with a 3rd up a similar hill at Ponty.

Dropped to a mark of 77, he looks very well treated based on peak efforts having won here in 2024 from 84 (2024)

Beverley’s sharp 5f suits his running style perfectly, and the return to good ground is a positive. Drawn in stall 1, he should be able to grab a prominent rail position early, which is often a major advantage here.

Looks like a prime opportunity for him to capitalise with Jason Hart doing the steering.

Priced with the 11/2 and the THREE paying places this morning.

James Owen charge No Knee Never a warm favourite on the back of AW runs but remains an AW virgin. Hasn't really done it on the hill clime tracks and readily opposable at lumping prices.

Will take Ruth Carr's COPPER AND FIVE to go close. Last couple of seasons has come to hand early including winning here over the trip in similar grade last May.

The veteran goes well for Joanna Mason, 26-5-9, and should strip fitter following that Thirsk outing to catch him early.
