At Newcastle, Phoenix Star should go close at wipes yer face prices (20.30). A tad unlucky on last two runs meeting up with the progressive Bonito Cavallo and the well handicapped Man On A Mission. Nothing of that ilk here, and, with favourite Elzaal having to do it off the far side Jess Macey's charge should be thereabouts under Tommy Jakes.

A bit underwhelming so far this week after those three winners last week. We'll look to get back amongst the returns with a selection from each today.

6f sprint at CRC where low drawn prominent types have a strong bias.

Come On Girl a long term tracker who hasn't won since 2022 a consideration but 8-0-2 at the track.

Will look to Simon Hodgson's THANK THE LORD to maintain early promise and a dual winner here.

Will pass over that poor run at Lingfield LTO, over the 5f, and look for some 'bouncebackability' here where he hacked up ahead of Kitbag who won NTO.

Finlay Marsh does the steering and widely on at 8's with the regulation THREE paying places.
