As yesterday, a few nice handicaps, and look at two more half stakes challenge selections.

We hit the crossbar yesterday with a very near miss last night with Kessar Power just getting done at the post 😫 Tbf didn't think Revolutionise ran that bad either that had warranted a drift out to 22's on the day either. Will be having another look at those two.

Today's Selections

Newcastle 15.40

Will have another on 3rd go on one we have backed for two placed efforts in RAMON DI LORIA. On penultimate run, Ewan Whillans charge, just faded at the death for 2nd and LTO was closing to the line in 3rd.

Does have good form pre-Xmas on past efforts and today, despite up to a C4 is no back number despite this price. Placed here last year in Grade from a mark of 76

The April 2022 acquisition for the yard runs well up the uphill finishes and gets 6f with this stiff 5f right up his street, 6-1-5 here, with the only blot being when drawn far side trap 1.

Willie Haggas's apprentice Adam Farragher gets the boot up tonight and a decent recored here on account of his connections.

Newcastle 15.40 - Ramon Di Loria (Half Stakes Challenge)

Will look outside of the obvious market leaders, and LTO winners, Henery Hawk and Show Compassion.

Michael Herrington's Glorious Charmer has been backed a few times for some pin money. Tends to do his winning post Christams and has looked a bit flat of late. Won a couple early last year and probably needs a few back.

Going to look to Philip Kirby's DOCTOR MOZART to get back on the winning thread after showing decent form in the spring.

Raced prominently in his wins could well look to set the pace in this one with not much pace up his inner. Has stayed on well in his 5f wins and only just folded late on when 3rd at Lingfield LTO on the polytrack.

Has dropped 9lb since coming into the yard from P D Evans and hopefully can get off the mark this afternoon. All his wins have come in headgear and that goes back on for this one. Back at Wolves can hopefully stick around for some of that place money at worst.

Aiden Brookes is the apprentice up top and there's 11/1 with regulation 3 paying slots.
