Haydock 14.45

Backing one who we had a nibble ta last year at Chepstow when the ground then went against him.

Chris Mason's LIANGAL HOPE has showed best on the quicker going at gets that at Haydock today.

Yard without a winner this term but hitting the slots at 50% will hopefully break the duck today.

Yet to win in C4 but this doesn't look overly strong and hopefully gets some pace to aim at off the fancied Magical Merlin with Richard Kingscote up top and well versed here.

LTO was a decent staying on 2nd behind our Brighton Winner Twilight Dancer.

Gina Mangan is the pilot taking 3lb off, and on with 9's to record with the enhanced FOUR paying places.

Progressive with two wins last term, CLEAR ANGEL got a noting when 2nd home at Redcar in the Straight Series Final at Redcar last October.

This term started well in the Spring Mile at Donny won by Look Back Smiling. After waiting for room, looked a tad unlucky in finishing just behind 3rd placed Arthur's Realm who has since followed up at Beverley.

Sarah Corbett's charge has run consistently in big field handicaps on easy going. In calmer waters today, David Nolan does the steering.

On at a general 6's to record with the regulation THREE paying places.
