🏇 Thursday’s UK turf racing comes from Brighton, Newmarket, Sandown and Chepstow, but it is another disappointing day for our approach.

Brighton’s six races contain only five to eight runners, Newmarket’s opening handicap has seven, while Sandown’s four handicaps have just seven, three, six and six runners. With limited each-way terms today looks more like a leave alone day than one on which to force a bet.

🐎 Friday is considerably more encouraging, with main turf meetings at Musselburgh, Brighton, Thirsk, Haydock and Newmarket. The current cards include an 11-runner Class 4 over 7f at Musselburgh at 3:20, the 10-runner Brighton Bullet at (16:00), a 10-runner Class 4 six-furlong handicap at Newmarket at (19.12), and an 11-runner 4yo+ handicap over nearly seven furlongs at Haydock.

Those four races should offer far more scope for doubling up with a couple of bets tomorrow.
