Today's Horse Racing Tips

Southwell 17.43

Heather Main's Ash Wednesday looks a big market mover on the back of a decent effort behind the resurgent Goldmoyne LTO. Has a wide draw to overcome and looks short enough at 7/2.

Habrdi took advantage of a drop in the weights to run out a comfortable winner in just a six runner LTO. Ruth Carr's charge was 80's rated when with Jane C-H as recent as March 2025. However that win seemed to come from nowhere and will look past that one.

Going to look at one at more of a price in Grant Tuer's CHESNEYS CHARM.

Makes seasonal re-appearance today but the yard do get them out pretty well from the off. Had a low key finish to the season on the turf but was a big priced 7f winner at York in a competitive 16 runner Class 4.

This one is 6-3-4 on the AW and 2-2 under today's conditions, going, trip & class. Perhaps another progressive one for the yard after coming in from Michael Bell and hopefully not a 'one hit wonder' like his namesake Hawkes.....showing our age there 😀

Southwell 17.43 - Chesneys Charm (Full Stakes Challenge)

Pit Boss the favourite based on consistent form. However, all those bridesmaids don't hide the fac he is a 1 from 25er and worth opposing.

Same could be said for Instant Bond who took 188 goes to get off the mark.

Will take those on with one who caught the eye when ANDALPROFIT finished just out of the places behind Yorkshire Glory.

That one has run in three times since and ours, on 2nd run off a break, was only swallowed up late on in that blanket finish 0-65

Will run a rule through the LTO run over the 7f. Noteworthy, he finished his 3yo season well with a win off the wrong side at Redcar and also boasts a C&D win here.

Likely to be forcing the pace in a field of not too many recent winners so lets see who can get past him.

A drop to 0-60 will hopefully benefit and perhaps a 4yo to follow in this term for the Tinkler yard. Joe Bradnam the rookie up top and on with 15/2 and the THREE paying places.
