Today's Horse Racing Tips

Chelmsford 18.00

Shalaa Asker been on a good run of late going off the likely favourite on a new mark 65. Does mean the likes of Papa Don't Preach and Son Of Astar are getting a full stone back since there last H2H runner up slots pre-Xmas.

Nevertheless prefer something who will be more to the fore over this short 5f and opting for Jon Portman's HELLO LUNA.

Ran up a cracking close up 2nd LTO to The Coffepoddotco who has won/placed since off a 4lb higher mark. Beat home another tracker in the summer, Em Four, who is now rated 74 so ours could be a tad under the radar on 63.

Most certainly will be up the front and not to concerned about the wide draw with a win % age of over 39% from that side.

Joe Leavy doing the steering, an impressive 29-7-11 when booked by the yard, and priced with 11/1 and the THREE paying places this morning.

Chelmsford 18.00 - Hello Luna (Full Stakes Challenge)

6 furlong Class 6 with King David being made favourite on the back of a 7f 2nd behind Sanditon coincidentally out in a later race (see below).

Wouldn't be right to oppose, and needs to introduction, our perennial winner SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD.

Will be right there up from the off with Jason Hart's Pinjarra a likely companion. With wins in low 60's he still looks well in on 57 despite being a ripe 9yo.

Marco Ghiani stands down in favour of Harry Davies. He's had an impressive course record, 48-9-17, in losing his claim here so knows the script.

Priced with 8's and the THREE paying places this morning.

Class 6 over the specialist 7f trip with Charlie Johnston's Sanditon a short price favourite.

One to take that on at slightly better than wipes yer face is Tony Carroll's HOMME DE FER.

Noted when 4th behind our winner Adace has been consistent since and a beaten favourite in 3rd LTO at Wolves.

Best form has been shown on the polytrack and with handicap mark not shifting much expect better now back on this surface.

William Carson is the pilot, last win for the yard on City Cyclone for us, let's home this is his next 😜
