Trefor wins.....advised 8/1

A nice winner to kick York's Ebor festival off with. Charlie Hills progressive TREFOR took the opening sprint. Kieran Shoemark secured the win by a tight head margin.

That's another milestone to his strong 2025 campaign, following wins at Doncaster and Ripon😁🐃

2024/25 AW bank stands at +39.02 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 41% win/place rate.

2025/26 Turf bank stands at +25.94 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 42% win/place rate.

Looks to be plenty of pace on form either side of the track to set it up for a closer.

Will look to a split stakes bet from each side.

On the far side, drawn low, The Grand Old Duke Of York, Copper Knight, could well run up a place. A good while since won a C2 but still has place claims at his favourite track.

Rejuvenated Brazen Bolt looks set to make a bold bid under claimer Warren Fentiman. However preferring the chances of Charlie Hills charge TREFOR.

Still looks under the radar after those two wins on galloping tracks at Ripon and Donny. LTO showed a good attitude when headed to nearly battle back when just headed by Chief Mankato.

1lb lower weight here following that one and hopefully teed up for his traveling style if he gets the slight drop back to 5.5f

Up the stands side, Adrian Nicholls Tees Spirit should be making the running and going to look at one noted in the tracker to take this.

JORDAN ELECTRICS has been noted in the tracker at Goodwood in the Stewards LTO. Looked in need of the run but still finished well when clearly on the wrong half of the draw.

That was on second run off a comeback injury after a stellar 2024. Won 7 races and ran JM Jungle close in this race last year before a nice 5th at the Ayr festival.

Stable plotting a similar route targeting that race again to round of the season. However, no reason shouldn't go well again here and priced with 9's and the FIVE paying slots.
