Chelmsford 18.30
Class 6 sprint with a few regressives in the field. Chelmsford 6f races tend to be pace-dominated contests where prominent racers significantly outperform held-up runners, while draw has minimal impact provided a horse secures a forward early position.
A warm order favourite with Dion Baker who sets the pace angle and on around 3's.
As usual will oppose with something at a price and the two 'value' charges look to be Port Hedland and SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD.
The former still a 1 from 20'er and has no AW win so will go with the John Jenkins charge who was selected 3 days ago at the abandoned Wolves meet.
Last win came early last year over the 5f but equally adept at the 6f trip and goes from 4lb below that this evening.
Marco Ghiani 29-7-12 when booked is the ideal pilot and priced with 11's and the THREE paying places on offer.
