Certainly didn't expect to be in this negative bank situation coming to the end of May😯

10-12% win/40% win place is our minimum target so operating at 5%/33% isn't an option. However, we have flirted with break even/loss at this stage before so hope we get a decent June to kick back on.

Redcar 13.45

Big field and a five paying place 7f race with a few outfits.

Have been keeping an eye on Mick & Dave's maiden Musical Masquerade. After a few decent efforts flopped LTO and still a 9 race maiden passing up for the time being.

One AW tracker going is Angel Amadea. However, another 9 race turf maiden and another leaver.

Going to settle on Kevin Ryan's CAMACHO STAR.

A two time winner over the trip is now 1lb below last winning mark has generally hasn't needed much readying. Two runs in made a better fist of it when running up the stiff Gosforth hill on 2nd run over the 8f.

Should have come on for that and with not much pace about could well take this one on. Was a ready winner over the 8f when taking that route here last April.

Yard buoyed by their G2 winner Inisherin who was mighty impressive on Saturday.

Same pilot this afternoon with Tom Eaves doing the steering and a general 14's with FIVE paying places available.
