Linda Perratt's CHINESE SPIRIT may be knocking on but still knows how to get his nose in front. A double winner here lost his chance when rearing at the start LTO.

Seems to go well in sub 10 runner fields and 4 of his 6 wins have been over this intermediate 9f trip. Prior run looked somewhere near in a similar apprentices at Thirsk.

Don McCain's conditional pilot Charlie Maggs does the steering He's done well on NH flat races and on with 9's and the TWO paying places.

However opposing Mick & Dave's Le Beau Garcon at just 3's.

Ghathanfar hasn't had much luck over the last couple of seasons, or maybe just no desire to get his nose in front. Either way a leaver from me on a 23 losing streak.

Going to look to Jim Goldie's ROCK MELODY.

This time last year was running the Ayr Gold Cup trial after back to back wins here over this trip. Eventually was sent off favourite for the festival finishing 6th/20 from the wrong side of the draw.

This season has been riding in significantly better races that this and drops to a C5 for the first time from 4 below last winning mark.

Paul Mulrennan had a sighter here 3 runs back over the 7f doing well at that trip and best RPR for the season.
