York 14.25

Competitive 6f class 2 sprint to try and eke out the winner. The field could well split but do prefer something on the far side low draws.

We'll have a look at a couple of half stakes options for this one with enhanced paying places on offer.

See no reason why our Ayr Silver Cup winner WOBWOBWOB shouldn't put in a good shift.

Looks to have peaked at the right time and, whilst Hollie Doyle had him a bit further back in that one than expected, looked a clever winner getting up a head.

Adrian Keatley’s charge had prior gone close in the Great St Wilfrid’s at Ripon. Drawn on the wrong side that day the form has been franked a good number of times. Whilst a bit short today just better than 6's is not to be sniffed at.

A ready winner here in 2021, Paul Mulrennan does the steering, there's 13/2 and enhanced SIX paying places with the likes of bet365, Betfair, Paddy & SkyBet.

Second selection, and more at a price is one who has taken time to get going this year but has dropped a good way in the handicap as a result.

John Quinn's MR WAGYU has finished 3-8-5 on last three runs on easier going and those would have given us paying returns on 2 of those.

Indeed the 8th was only two lengths down from the wrong side of the track in the Ayr Gold Cup behind the winner Significantly who re-opposes as the favourite here. Gets a 5lb pull on that one and would hope reverses that from this low draw as a previous C&D winner.

Jason Hart is the pilot and there's 20's and enhanced SIX paying places with Betfair, Paddy though a more general 16's elsewhere.

Expect both our ours to be racing near the front on the far side.
