Finally David O'Meara landed the Thirsk Hunt Cup as our selected MIRSKY won the feature Class 2 a tad cosily. Mark Winn had him handy down the centre and once asserted was always doing enough to win from the favourite Blue RC 🫎🔥🏇
2025/26 £1k to £10k Challenge bank ended at £1529.59 with a 36% win/place rate.
2026/27 £1k to £10k Challenge bank stands at £891.08 with a 42% win/place rate and full stakes at £11.14 EW
2026/27 Turf bank stands at -7.8 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 37% win/place rate.
2025/26 AW bank ended at +62.6 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

Ran well early last term and has a promising pipeopener under him finishing a close third on his reappearance at Musselburgh
David O’Meara is well known for improving horses significantly from their first outing and long overdue a winner in this event.
Eased a 1b from that he’s a previous C&D winner, who handles any ground, and the drop back to a mile looks ideal after that stretch LTO.
Likes to race prominently and draw not really an issue over this flat billiard table has Mark Winn doing the steering and priced with 7/1 and the FOUR paying places.
