Another nice winner with Iain Jardine trained KAT'S BOB.

Young Archie Young booted him home by 1/2 length but looked comfortable in holding the 2nd and 3rd home.

2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge bank stands at £1786.76 with current full stakes at £22.33 EW with over 40% win/place rate.

2023 Turf bank ended at +37.9pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 40% win/place rate.

2023/4 AW bank stands at +34.6pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 42% win/place rate.

Looking at one at a price and drawn low who gave a confusing run LTO.

Cam Hardie never put KAT'S BOB into the fray and was running on at the finish.

Prior had run well here recording a 76 RPR in a blanket finish 5th under Andrew Mullen. In fact has ridden out 4 @ 70+ in his last 6 runs, and seems to go well for claimers.

Indeed 3 runs on the AW this term have seen him go close in a 0-80 C4 plus making us sweat a tad when we won with Snash in that 0-70 here over this trip.

Dropped into a 0-68, his 'easiest' engagement to date and places at 50% over the trip in both codes. Has a low draw so, if running prominently, or just off the pace as wins have come from, would expect to go close.

Yard used to have a fine record on the fibresand here that has cooled a tad since the change, albeit haven't sent many down of late.

Apprentice race ridden by Archie Young and on at 8/1 and regulation THREE PAYING places. However going to take the same price with the extra slots from Fred & Hills.
