💥 Tristan Davidson trained IRIS DANCER did the business under Rowan Scott for us at Hamilton. Again proved the pick when going in a sub-eight runner race, the same way of eight of his last nine wins.

Looked trapped for room approaching the final furlong but Rowan Scott just about found daylight and she responded willingly, finishing strongly getting her head in front in the final strides.🏇🍀💰🫎

Today's Selections - Tristan Davidson

Hamilton 20.30

With 3 paying places on offer with certain outfits will go with last weeks selection IRIS DANCER on 2nd go.

Tristan Davidson's eight-year-old arrives here with recent form figures that fail to tell the full story. Her seasonal reappearance at Pontefract was packed with encouragement, staying on strongly to finish second over a stiff five furlongs despite conditions not being ideal.

Her penultimate outing at Carlisle is easy enough to forgive. The testing ground was never likely to suit a mare whose best performances have traditionally come on quicker surfaces, and to be fair did expect better LTO here, however possibly the visor didn't go down well..

However, back on a sounder surface looking for bouncing back here with Hamilton a happy hunting ground throughout her career. Notably has gone well in sub-8 runner races of late which is the case tonight.

A nine-time course-and-distance winner, including victory in this very race twelve months ago, she has repeatedly shown that the stiff uphill finish plays perfectly to her strengths. Last season alone she made all to win here twice from marks very similar to the one she competes from today.

Last weeks headgear is discarded and Rowan Scott does the steering, priced with 8/1 and the THREE paying places.
