Today's Horse Racing Tips

Chelmsford 19.00

Class 6 over the 7f and a couple of each way value look to be Amaysmont and Thomas Equinas.

The latter is a 4 x C&D winner who has slipped to a workable mark following a quiet spell, having threatened to strike again with a couple of near-misses in the autumn.

His comeback run at Lingfield was below par, but he is far better suited by this track and a return here under Rab Havlin should see him put in a much stronger performance. However, drawn 8 and not the pace angle will just pass over.

I will go with the better priced Kevin Frost charge AMAYSMONT.

Better drawn drawn, looks dangerously well handicapped from 5 below last winning mark to get involved at a nice price.

The stable is in good nick and he holds plenty of course form being 7-3-4 at the track and 4-2-3 over the trip.

Will run a rule through last outings at Wolves on account of the tapeta and expect some bouncebackability returning here.

Young Oliver Stammers, bang in form is the pilot, priced 10's with the THREE paying places.

Class 4 over the 6f and going to look at a past winner of ours.

With not much pace about Mick Appleby's INTERVENTION is ideally drawn to make all in this one.

He's been a cracking servant to 'The Horse Watchers 8' and gave us a great little winner at the end of the last AW season.

Always shows a good attitude and held off Diamondsonthehill that day who is a bang consistent 84 type. The season got better from there with another win at Wolves but later took the C2 Great St Wilfrid's at Ripon.

Has already had a pre Xmas win but will put a line through that run under Jason Watson LTO when he was baulked and denied any room before being eased down.

Yard are going well and tonight Mason Paetel takes 5lb off with a solid priced 10's with the THREE paying places on offer.
