Today's Horse Racing Tips
Musselburgh 15.50
Qazak was one backed last term and going of a likely favourite on the back of his 2nd here LTO.
However, going to have another looks at Charlie Johnston's TATTIE BOGLE.
Ran well enough behind course specialists Evocative Spark and Vince Le Prince at Catterick for a placed effort LTO.
Has been performing well enough at the 7f trip on the AW in better races. Was running in HQ class 3's last summer before best run last term with best RPR as a 3yo came at a similar quirky Brighton under Joe Fanning off his last turf outing.
Should be race fit now and able to race just off the pace of Giorgio M at this front running track.
Three prior runs on the AW should see him race fit and run to suit just off the pace.
Andrew Mullen is the pilot and priced with better than wipes yer face 13/2 and the THREE paying places
Musselburgh 15.50 - Tattie Bogle (Full Stakes Challenge)
Musselburgh 17.00
Not expecting one of the 4yo's to prevail so looking at the older charges with some C&D form will opt for Tracy Waggott's WITHOUT DELAY to get in the shake up.
Looks a value play returning to a track and trip that suit him well. He has already proven his effectiveness over this 7f course and distance, finishing a close second in similar company, and that piece of form stands out in this modest Class 6.
The good ground is ideal, and Musselburgh’s sharp nature should play to his strengths, particularly as a horse who can travel smoothly just off the pace.
His latest run is easy to forgive, coming on his first start after a five-month break, and he’s entitled to strip much fitter here. He now finds himself 1lb lower than when beaten just a length in this grade back in October, which puts him on a very workable mark.
In a race lacking depth and full of exposed rivals, he doesn’t need to improve much to get seriously competitive. With his previous course form, suitable conditions, and a likely race setup that should suit his running style.
William Pyle doing the steering and priced with12's and the FOUR paying places
Musselburgh 17.00 - Without Delay (Full Stakes Challenge)
