🏇 Tuesday’s UK turf programme is fairly light, with Ripon and Brighton providing the only Flat action on grass.
Ripon looks comfortably the more interesting card. The two six-furlong Class 4 handicaps are worth keeping an eye on, but our main focus is the (16:13) over the 6f, where 10 runners scheduled to go to post.📊
Incidentally, backed last Friday, Yes I'm Mali goes in the Div 1 of this race in the prior (15:40). After that head second at Thirsk last week is obviously well fancied.
It's the last month of the flat on the turf as far as our selections are concerned. Lte's hope for a solid end to the seaon before we switch across to the 'kitty litter'.
Today's horse racing tips below.

FORTAMOUR - EW @ 16/1, 3 places, 1/5 odds
The market leaders look pretty well found this morning and, based on what they have already achieved, it is difficult to argue too strongly with their position at the head of affairs. Almarada Prince and Mister Sox both make obvious claims at lumping prices.
As usual, looking further down the list for an each-way angle, Ben Haslam’s FORTAMOUR offers just that.
I’m quite happy to put a line through his latest effort over 7f at York behind our winner Jonny Concrete. He was sent off at a huge price, the trip stretches him, and today’s return to 6f at Ripon is much more his territory. He is a genuine course specialist with 29-6-14 figures.
There is also some useful evidence that today’s easing conditions will not inconvenience him. 8-1-3 and couple of wins on the AW so for an each-way bet at a double-figure price, that is a much stronger conditions profile than many of the others muster.
His recent form is better than the bare figures suggest too. Earlier this season he finished second over this C&D in a stronger than today’s, showing that despiet veteran status, still retains enough ability to be competitive at this level.
He was then beaten favourite back here, but stumbled at the start and was always playing catch-up, so I’m prepared to forgive that effort. Today races from OR72, some 8lb below his last winning mark of 80, so there is room for him to be competitive if returning to something close to his better Ripon form.
The tactical setup is intersting. He's been racing held up off the pace for all but one race this term yet all his wins have come from leading or racing prominently as per his quick fire double to end the 2025 season. Ripon is a froint running track and a retun to that will hopefully see him in the mixer.
Paul Mulrennan back on board, I’m happy to take the chance that he can get him into the race early enough and on with the 14/1 and the THREE paying places (1/5 odds)
