A cracking winner on the opening day of York's Dante Meeting. Jason Hart made all and won a tad cosily on the 11/1 shot DARK THIRTY.
The switch to John & Sean Quinn may now have unlocked another productive spell for the sprinter, and could well remain competitive in similar big-field handicaps through the summer if holding this level of form. 🫎🔥🏇

Today's Selections - Jason Hart winner
York 14.55
Open looking class 2 six furlong and going with a couple of selections with the five places on offer and favourite Binhareer needing a tad of luck wanting to come out of the pack.
DARK THIRTY who looks an interesting contender returning to York for John & Sean Quinn,. His profile suggesting he could be capable of outrunning his odds in this competitive sprint handicap.
While his reappearance at Doncaster didn’t yield much, he has often shaped as a horse who improves for a run and this sharper effort could easily have been more about building fitness for targets like this later in the spring.
There’s also plenty of encouragement from the form he showed last season when trained by Richard Hannon. He proved himself highly competitive in strong sprint handicaps, including some excellent efforts from marks around this 87 level.
His previous York form with the long straight and strongly run nature of these races appearing to suit him very well and drawn on the far side.
Jason Hart takes the ride and priced around 10/1 and SIX paying places with the likes of bet365.
