The race more or less went as hoped with the wider draw not hindering the pacesetter at all. 😁🐃

2025/26 Turf bank ended at -22.26 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 36% win/place rate.

2025/26 AW bank STANDS at -+7.5pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 37% win/place rate.

Not many Class 4 winners lining up in this 6 print so going to look to a proven C5 type who goes well here.

Mick Appleby enters up a couple but going with his lesser fancied COUNSEL to go close in this.

Runs at an inflated price, possible due to his last two wins coming under Luke Morris is booked on the 2/1 favourite Coronado King.

Nonetheless, goes well here and don't consider the high draw an inconvenience with his pace angle. He ran too free at Chelmsford LTO and although best at the 5f, still think there is an option to win at the 6f trip.

Has gone close before and the price appeals.
