Hit the post with Billy Wizz on Fircombe Hall. Not likely to be much of a price here NTO. beaten by Ana Emeraaty who does get the 7f trip and despite being hard at it over 3f out. Paul Mulrennan does what he does best and came from last to first and won going away.

Won by the 3yo Stanley Spencer, Tony Carroll's Glamorous Express was a running on 4th of the back. May not have peaked out on the AW off 66. Wasn't that far off in a C4 here back in May off 71.

3YO plus | Class 6 | 7f | Standard / Slow | 12 Runners | Polytrack

On the wrong 'un as Adace beat our selection Marchetti. Again worth another look, albeit 2 from 39 a bit of a put off. If Jimmy Quinn got the winner home may well have been a weak race :)

20.00 - Try Unibet's Improved Bet Builder Handicap

Well travelled Vaunted won for Adrian Wintle. Does have the ability and hasn't showed unwilling to get down to it on the hills of Ponty & Beverley. Best over the 5 and 6f is relatively new to the AW and running consistently now off late 50's though once was 70's rated with Nigel Tinkler

Airshow gave his usual running for 3rd and no doubt will be layed out to win soon. Last couple of AW wins have come off 68 so watch for a claimer coming from his current 70.

Southwell

Backed Street Kid who proved a flop here at Southwell in C3. 15-3-8 on the AW has best form to date shown at Wolves so maybe another look from what still looks a decent mark.

Another no show, this time Jack of Clubs. No real excuses, Mulrennan up top and a high draw. Maybe the hills not his boat. Started out handicapping of 67 and no 56 has a win on the AW from a similar mark at Wolves. Howzak proved the best of the placers. However has been best on the polytrack and a long route south for Liam Bailey if he goes that route.

Turbo Command looks in need of a couple back. Placed on last three starts without threatening the winners behind the 3yo's. Maybe look at a 4yo plus race.

Backed King of York for a heavily backed runner up. Will look again as looks 4lb better in than last seasons winning form here last February.

Intervention not far away and running on at the death. Personally cannot remember when Jason Watson road a winner for us :( He's now 5lb below lowest place rating so must be worth another look when dropping to a C4.
