Today's Selections

Catterick 13.47

Likely to be one for the many C&D winner so will make a split stakes pick here in this apprentices with charges that go well.

Tim Easterby's OBEE JO won this event last year and goes with a pipe opener here in a C5 under today's pilot Annie Waugh.

The three time C&D winner drops in grade and looks the pick ahead of the yards other runner Temper Trap.

Second up the perennial REDROSEZORRO.

Generally around the premises ran up a big priced 2nd here on last run. Really like the booking of Mia Nicholls. She's had an excellent record in the sprints over the winter.

Both charges on at 10s and 12's respectively with the enhanced FOUR paying places.

Catterick 13.45 - Obee Jo & Redrosezorro (Half Stakes Challenge)

Langholm inevitably finds one better and Gathanfar another we have backed who hasn't been able to convert since 2022.

Both head the market as current joint favourites and will look to oppose in this veterans race.

Quercus another moose we have backed but yard yet to fire and this one also generally needs a race or to to find form

Will have a look at a mid priced sort in Ian Williams MOKAATIL.

Goes well on these quirky tracks with wins at Epsom, Sandown & Musselburgh.

Arrives here fit from a rare AW campaign that has seen him mark drop from a closing 2023 turf mark of 73 to today's 60. However has won at Wolves this winter and placed on two of last three runs from this sort of mark.

Should be competitive here with Billy Whizz doing the steering.

On at a general 9's to record with the enhanced FOUR paying places.
