Flat racing comes from Ayr and Yarmouth today with another interesting mix of northern and seaside turf action on offer 👀

Ayr’s long straight and often testing finish should provide a proper stamina test in the handicaps, while Yarmouth’s wide, galloping layout regularly rewards horses able to travel smoothly and finish strongly off a good pace 🌤️

Today's Horse Racing Tips

Ayr 15.42

Competitive Class 4 miler and see no reason why the veteran GARDEN OASIS cannot be in the mixer.

Won this last term but Tim Easterby’s tough sort can make his presence felt once again at a track he clearly loves. His record over this Ayr's C&D, 5-3-4, obviously brings out the very best in him.

This looks easier than his previous runs this term and looks to have been a targeted race. Likes to do it off thee front and the challenge will be for one of the other modest looking types to pass him.

Ayr 15.42 - Garden Oasis (Full Stakes Challenge)

Yarmouth 20.10

7f Class 5 and taking the 4yo’s out of the equation, GIORGIO M looks a solid each-way contender and Mark Loughnane’s charge could be ready to put up a big performance back on turf.

He ran over this course and distance twice last May and hit the frame on both occasions, showing he handles Yarmouth particularly well. The wide, galloping straight should suit the way he races far more than some of the sharper, tactical tracks he’s encountered recently and this doesn’t look the deepest race for the grade either.

We’ve also followed him through some of his all-weather runs this year where he has shaped better than the bare results suggest, so the return to grass could easily unlock further improvement.

Billy Loughnane taking the ride is another major positive and at around 18/1 with THREE places on offer makes plenty of each-way appeal.
