Ponty
14.25 - Nick & Liz 40th Anniversary Handicap
3YO plus | Class 5 | 1m 6y | Good (Good to Firm in places) | 10 Runners | Turf
Backed Super Hit who ran his best race in a while to finish just out of the slots in 4th. Bang on the 66 mark where he won convincingly at Thirsk early doors. Won by Project Geofin for Geoff Oldroyd. This trainer has an amazing strike rate for a small yard. Raced and came off the back and won a shade cosily at the end of the day to suggest much more to come.

Ayr
15.00 - Tennent's Lager Handicap
3YO plus | Class 4 | 7f 50y | Good (Good to Soft in places) | 10 Runners | Turf |
A Dods 1-2 for which we had the 33/1 runner up and current tracker Count Palatine. Not going to be that price NTO :(
Abduction also ran well for Jim Goldie coming off the rear strongly. The 5 time winner generally lands a couple per season and looking well handicapped right now.

Beverley
17.10 - It's Ladies Day Next On 13 August Handicap
3YO plus | Class 5 | 5f | Good to Firm (Good in places) | 8 Runners | Turf |
Ruth Carr's JoJo Rabbit proved it's pace that wins the race when winning from an alleged unfancied high draw here. Our selection Hover On The Wind ran out of gas in the chase. The winner still looks well in on 67 having been a winner last term off 72. Our selected hasn't won past June yet and loos in need of a break off some quickly turned back out efforts.

17.42 - Ffos Las Local Bookmakers Handicap
3YO plus | Class 6 | 6f | Good | 10 Runners | Turf |
Won by tracker Diamondsinthesand, it was Lisa Williamson's Red Walls catching the eye with a rare turf run in 3rd. Has had a minibreak since April and a couple of 3rds to boot could be worth looking at when reverting back to the all-weather from a basement mark.
Goodwood
15.40 - Coral Golden Rewards Shaker Handicap
3YO plus | Class 2 | 5f | Good | 20 Runners | Turf
Resurgent Brazen Bolt ran in a big priced winner for Ruth Carr. Followed home by the 3yo's but then Mick & Dave's 4yo Canon's House has improved 20lb since that ready win at Thirsk and may be up for something at the Ayr festival.
17.30 - World Pool Bet With The Tote EBF Fillies' Handicap
3YO plus | Class 3 | 6f | Good | 13 Runners | Turf |
A winning favourite with Dubai Treasure. However, Michael Herrington's Powdering another 20lb improver who finished a running on big priced 4th. Has gone well up the stiff finishes at HQ and Beverley to date.

Nottingham
16.05 - pricedup.bet Boosts Handicap
3YO plus | Class 5 | 1m 75y | Good to Soft | 8 Runners | Turf |
Backed Naval Academy for a staying on 6th and still just the 1 from 16. as hardly a future recommendation Ran up behind a big AW tracker in Soames Forsythe that I didn't see coming.

Goodwood
14.30 - Coral Golden Mile (Heritage Handicap)
3YO plus | Class 2 | 1m | Soft (Good to Soft in places) | 15 Runners | Turf |
Nice to tip up the winner of this C2. Rhoscolyn hardly a difficult tip being a multiple winner here on easy going. Our other pick ran ok with Bopedro. Getting on a tad now will find an easier race than this in the near future. 2nd home Ebt's Guard looks a 4yo who hasn't stopped improving and goes well for Lewis Edmunds.
Musselburgh
19.18 - Lens Self Storage Handicap
3YO plus | Class 4 | 5f 1y | Good (Good to Firm in places) | 7 Runners | Turf |
Market leaders 1-2 home but Lion's House an AW tracker ran up 3rd at a big price. Two wins so far after an opening handicap mark of 85 looks to have more to offer for Linda Perratt.
02.08.25
Goodwood
15.05 - Coral Stewards' Cup (Heritage Handicap)
3YO plus | Class 2 | 6f | Good to Soft (Good in places) | 27 Runners | Turf |
The stands side clearly held the advantage with double digit draws dominating the finishing places. First home on the far side was previous winner Commanche Falls and 2nd & 3rd - Completely Random and Jordan Electrics. Id' mark all them up a tad based on that. The second, CR coming up a running on 5th/28 in Get It's domination off the front at Ascot. A cracking run also from Jim Goldie's JE who, lightly raced this term, surely worth keeping an eye on at the Ayr Festival next month.
Thirsk
17.50 - JW 4x4 Northallerton Handicap (Div 2)
3YO plus | Class 6 | 6f | Good to Firm (Good in places) | 10 Runners | Turf |
Won by Nigel Tinkler's Dandy Dinmont. 6f maybe now the optimum and possibly the yard starting to function with a couple of recent winners. Dave Thompson's 3yo Uncle Sam a big priced 2nd just get the better of late and looks a decent dual purpose sort from this sort of mark to note.
03.08.25
Chester
17.22 - Christmas Parties At Chester Racecourse Handicap (GBBPlus Race)
3YO plus | Class 4 | 1m 2f 70y | Good to Firm (Good in places) | 8 Runners | Turf |
Nice to sign the week off with another winner. Glistening Nights put this one to bed very easily. A 4 length victory and 22-5 -7 a fair record over the 10f and still under the highest OR of 72.
Please be aware that we do not back all trackers on every run and only when we think conditions suit
