4th home Speed Dial Bailey's has run well at Wolves for the most part. Now dropping back to last winning 61 mark was drawn widest of the first 5 home. may be better when stepped back tom the 6f trip.

Finally a win with Peachey Carnehan. Still likely to be well in on old form at this basement grade and a proven winner. Tathmeen looks to have found his old mojo of late in this grade and was closing on him to the line.

Backed Arlecchino's Gift for a wipes yer face return. As said Mark Usher's yard do pay to follow when they are running to the mark. By the way Doc Sportello is a real veteran for Tony Carroll and one of our winners of previous years. Ran up a cracking 2nd at 33's for Molly Gunn. She was at it at 33's the other night on another of the yards oldies, Sir Titan. Must be something good in the water down there at the moment. Stand by for a look at Poetic Force when he's next back out :)

20.30 - BetUK. Home Of The Acca-Fenwa Handicap 4YO plus | Class 6 | 1m 1f 104y | Standard | 8 Runners

Tracker, and backed LTO, Carey Street ran in another placed effort. March 2022 his last win here from 70. However, does tend to go well here and down mid 50's over this 9.5f worth another look with best form shown in the early parts of each year.

Took on treble seeking Beauzon with All In The Hips. The former proved up to it again from a wide draw. However ours ran her race in 2nd at 10's and looks more comfortable over the 6f and in C6.

15.05 - BetMGM: It's Showtime Handicap 4YO plus | Class 5 | 7f 36y | Standard | 10 Runners

A nice winner for Surprise Picture and Billy Garritty. Should still be capable of his re-assessed mark. Autumn Angel in 3rd was slowly away and doing the closing at the finish. 3 wins for this one from around 60. Placed on 4 from last 5 starts for Tony Carroll.

18.30 - Build Your Acca With BetUK Handicap (Div 1) 4YO plus | Class 4 | 6f | Standard | 9 Runners

A tracker we missed :( Mighty Power ran in at 14's. I commented on last run at Ponty that he pulled hard and worth another look on the AW at Gosforth. Far better rated on the AW may get a sever bump for this past his 78 ceiling. Secret Guest improved through the Autumn and could well be an early season scorer on the turf based on this run.

The Caltonian continues to progress but a nice 14/1 2nd from Adrian Nichols Zu Run under his daughter. Mia Nichols is a top claimer when it comes to sprints. Bellagio Man another of note who is generally in the shake up, and a proven winner, when given a high draw here from 75-80 marks.

Backed Kraken Florida against the favourites but ran unplaced. Made some late progress but couldn't add to that sole classified win last March achieved from 4 higher.

Disappointing All In The Hips followed up. 9/4 in the morning was passed over and Jordan Williams, claiming 5, managed it with a hold up ride, winning going away. Not the easiest thing to do at Chelmsford CRC

15.05 - CCR Private Venue Hire Handicap4YO plus | Class 5 | 7f | Standard | 8 Runners

Not the best day with another previously backed tracker going in. Conquest of Power was short at 7/2 but raced handily and won with a bit to spare. Our backed King Of Scotia made some late progress and will remain of interest as likely to be still under the radar. 3rd home Lafan is one who can go forward and holds 4 wins to date with majority on the PO over the 7f trip.

Disappointing we missed Carey Street after backing twice and no going in at a lumping 2/1 under Hollie Doyle.

14.15 - Win 2,000,000 With BetMGM's Golden Goals Handicap 4YO plus | Class 4 | 7f 36y | Standard | 10 Runners

.......and another missed with Beauty Choice who has given us several placed efforts doing it stepped up to the 7f. The Turpinator noted running on in 3rd for Grant Tuer.

Ellexis hacked up by a near 4 l. However Renesmee was 3rd home and likely to be out on the turf early over a mile. A Yarmouth winner last term could well be one to look follow on the grass.

Took a chance with Emperor Caradoc. Finished 6th of 7 and Paul Midgley's charge maybe better suited to the turf and will consider again. Has decent showings on the uphill finishes at Ponty & Gosforth.

Backed Nelson Gay who ran on late into 4th just a head out of the slots. Will look at this one again with plenty of wins on his CV up into the 80's.

oh my days - having backed Athollblair Boy last couple of times completely missed this 7/1 winning engagement ....ffs. 6th home Kath's Toyboy has around a 50% place record with a couple of wins. More at home at Wolves or Southwell.

Backed Dayman who was a running on 5th just a head behind the good yardstick and favourite Revolutionise. Liam Keniry not the most attractive bookings and will remain of interest. Had an opening mark 81 with a best winning mark 79. should be around 4 below that on next AW outing at 7f.

Flopped hurdler City Cyclone was another big priced Tony Carroll priced. Another one backed just one out of the places was Plumette. Holds 5 wins here and the last being just under a year ago in C5 from 70. Should be able to find another from 65 over the 7 or 8f trip here in a C6.

2nd go about Mark Usher's Arlecchino's Gift for a wipes yer face place. Not sure we are going to get a price about this one while in form. Got done for room a tad and Hannah's Gift exploited that nad kicked on from the front.

The wider drawn runners like Harry The Hagler had work to do to race up the front and those drawn low benefited. Daryl Holland's charge Dynamic Talent was another who tried to do same from a wide draw but only just failed having been barged late on. Previous wins in the 70's and a 7f win on penultimate run means he looks well in on old form from this 62 mark.

18.45 - Injured Jockeys Fund Handicap 4YO plus | Class 4 | 1m | Standard | 12 Runners | Polytrack

A cracking win for us on Al Marmar whose price came in and then drifted at tad going off at 12's. Plenty of promise here on last run pre-Xmas and wrapped this one up easily when hitting the front. Should follow up but more likely lumping prices on offer.
