Today's Horse Racing Tips

Southwell 16.58

Open looking C5 with our last winner My Mate Mike goes in this one. Hopefully not a nadkicker but is at the top end of his handicap winning ceiling and struggled when upped in C5.

Market leader No Knee Never also for same needing 4lb of improvement without a win in grade.

Going to side with the chances of Scott Dixon's BELLA BISBEE.

Hasn't been too long in from Ed Dunlop's yard and already a win and two placed efforts. Won for previous yard over C&D December 24 that popped her into low 70's.

Mark has eased back to last winning mark and maybe no coincidence that the racecourse trainer fires her back out here for the first time after a poor showing up the hill at Gosforth LTO.

Pace wins the race is the old adage so not too concerned about the wide draw here.

Looks a tad overpriced with Kieran O'Neill doing the steering and priced with 12/1 and the FOUR paying places this morning.

Class 4 six furlong with Kevin Ryan's Vantheman a 4's favourite off the back of a LTO win. That's now 2-2 on the AW and certainly the one to beat who has raced C2 & 3 on the turf.

Silkie Wilkie is chucked in on old form an demonstrated that with another win LTO and still well below previous low 90's marks for Karl Burke.

Nevertheless, looking at EW propositions who could step up, Aberama Gold is consistent but 0-85 stretches him for win purposes.

Going to side with Ruth Carr's, not too long into the yard, CAJETAN.

Had previous with Jack Channon and 9-3-3- under today's conditions. First outing under Paul Mulrennan was a decent running on 3rd.

She has a reputation for improving horses after switching yards and rarely wastes a run, and when her horses begin to take steps forward.

Am expecting some improvement from that first run and priced nicely for a half stakes snifter at a decent price.

Luke Morris does the steering and priced with 18/1 and the FOUR paying places this morning.
