Today's Selections

Wolves 16.45

Last time out winners First Greyed & Latin head the market. Both go reasonably well here but vey short having to find PB's.

At the moment struggling to understand the price of Adrian Wintle's PESSOA.

Maybe due to the yards current form but his Eutropia ran well enough here over the trip last Friday so will take that as a small positive.

Our selection is lightly raced this winter season and looked in need of that New Years Eve run here. However has solid form when declared under these conditions.

28-6-15 here is even better coming of the back of just over a 14 day break. His pilot tonight is a 7lb claimer who knows him well and 4-1-2 when booked.

Taryn Langley does the steering and happy to have a half stakes nibble on the challenge priced with 33/1 and the THREE paying places on offer.

Wolves 16.45 - Pessoa (Half Stakes Challenge)

Mick & Dave's I Need Your Love looks a solid lumper. Only just beaten for 2nd here LTO and goes off an unchanged mark. Nonetheless looks worth taking on as an AW virgin.

Looking at EW value, Jason Hart always worth a 2nd look when riding for the Quinn's. Phoenix Of Dreams has shown little since 2yo days and a wind op hasn't enhanced things to press.

Going to look at one we backed on penultimate run when claiming a 4th slot home. Alan Brown's BLACKJACK is a little hit and miss but the 6 time AW winner is 17-3-8 here to be of EW interest.

LTO made little impression, however won on 3rd outing of his AW campaign last term of 1lb below tonight's 68 so hopefully tuned to go close.

Solid looking jockey booking with P J McD as tonight's pilot and priced with 16/1 and the THREE paying places.
