Today's Horse Racing Tips
Bath 17.03
Plenty of 'one from plenty' types in this Class 6 over the just shy of six furlong sprint.
At a decent looking double digit odds am siding with SECRET HANDSHEIKH a chance in a race that doesnāt look the strongest for the grade.
The veteran has slipped to a very workable mark now and still retains enough ability to be competitive in these Class 6 sprint handicaps when conditions suit.
Bath has often brought out the best in him over the years and this sharp track on quick ground could easily see him bounce back to form.
A few of his recent runs have been better than the finishing positions suggest and he hasnāt been beaten far in races where things havenāt fallen his way.
A slight concern is that he tends to do his winning in sub-8 runner. However, should be able to get a decent track position and, racing close to the front, with proven form in this sort of company, he makes EW appeal at the prices.
Luke Morris takes the ride tonight and that adds to the interest with 16/1 and the FOUR places on offer šš¢
Bath 17.03 - Secret Handsheikh (Full Stakes Challenge)
Bath 18.15
Average looking bunch in this low grade finale over the mile.
I'm going to take DAPPLED LIGHT with the extra paying places.
Adrian Wintleās runner won this very race last year with Finlay Marsh onboard and returns tonight with Joe Leavy taking over in the saddle.
Heās always been a horse that saves his best for Bath and these sharp turning tracks suit his style perfectly. His overall record now reads 21-4-9 and with a previous win here on slightly quicker ground, he looks solid each-way material again in this grade.
His comeback run can easily be overlooked after the break and it wouldnāt be a surprise at all to see him step forward significantly here.
Proven course form counts for plenty around Bath and with conditions looking ideal once more, he makes plenty of appeal at the prices with those extra places on offer šš¢
Joe Leavy does the steering and on around 11/1 with FOUR places.
Bath 18.15 - Dappled Light (Full Stakes Challenge)
