Horse Racing Tips by Always Back Winners:- 11th September 2026

🏇 Friday’s UK turf action comes from Doncaster, Chester, Sandown and Salisbury, with the headline meeting at Doncaster on the St Leger Festival card.

The card doesn’t really give us the exposed 4yo+ handicap profiles so focus switches on two handicaps elsewhere: Chester’s (15:17) Class 3 sprint over 5f, a sharp 10-runner contest where draw and early pace will be crucial, and Salisbury’s (16:51) Class 4 over 6f for 4yo+, a nine-runner race made up entirely of exposed older handicappers.

The value about Tenbob Tommy seems to have gone in the latter ovenight, so will just take one at a nice price on the Roodee🔥

EXCLAMATION – 16/1 EACH WAY3 places

Vintage Clarets has been very well backed this morning while Baker Blue is another obvious danger with plenty of natural early speed.

However, at a much bigger price, I’m prepared to take a chance on the somewhat unpredictable Grace Harris trained EXCLAMATION.

His form has always been a little bit all or nothing, with some very poor efforts mixed in with performances that show he is more than capable at this level. The interesting thing is that some of those better runs have come at tracks where he appears particularly comfortable and The Roodee certainly looks to be one of them.

He won here over C&D in May, in Class 3 company, from today’s exact mark of OR90. That performance becomes even more interesting as he has already proved he can handle this mark in almost exactly the race we are asking him to contest again.

There was also a very good 2nd at Sandown from OR92 earlier in the summer, so this isn't simply a case of hanging everything on one old Chester victory. The ability to compete from marks around this level is there; the question has always been whether he produces it on the day.

He also has a much kinder draw today. He managed to win that Chester race from trap 9, making the running, whereas this time he starts from trap 3.

His careers best haver come from off the front and Harry Vigors gets the opportunity to make full use of that inside position on a track where being close to the pace is often an advantage.

His 5lb claim is another nice addition and a change of rider has coincided with some of his better performances previously. That inconsistency is precisely why we're getting the price of 16/1 and the THREE paying slots this morning, 20's last night.🍀🔥
